About us

established in 2000

Our practice is a family-oriented practice, and we strive to provide the highest standard of care for all our patients and their families, in a warm and friendly environment.

The practice is supported by our friendly and caring receptionists.

We are fully accredited and our doctors are Fellows of the Royal Australian College of Practitioners. We pride ourselves in achieving and maintaining the highest level of patient care.

Located in North-Western Sydney, we are only a short drive from the Norwest Private Hospital and in the heart of suburbia. On-site parking is available for our patients.

Our doctors work with a broad range of allied health professionals to provide you with the best quality of care possible.

Appointments

Consultations are normally by appointment, but the first available doctor will see walk-ins & urgent cases.

Longer Consultations: Please let the reception know if you need to book a long appointment, e.g for several problems or a Pap Smear or annual health check.

Fees

We are a mix-billing practice. We privately bill patients except for children 15 years and under, and Pension/Healthcare/DVA cardholders. The out-of-pocket fee is approximately $25 for a standard (up to 15 minutes) consultation.

Fees are payable at the time of consultation. We accept cash, EFTPOS and credit card.

Calling your doctor

Doctors in this practice may be contacted during normal surgery hours. If the doctor is with a patient, a message will be taken and your call returned as soon as possible.

Results

Sometimes the doctor will order investigations such as blood tests or x-rays. Please check with that doctor whether they want you to return for an appointment to discuss the results. Lengthy and complicated discussions about results are best done in person during a consultation.

Confidentiality

This practice is dedicated to your confidentiality and privacy of health information. At times, our doctors may participate in research, professional development and quality assurance. This can involve the collection of patient data. However this information is de-identified and those involved in analysis of the data are not able to identify which patient has been included.

Reminders

Our practice is committed to preventative care. You have the option of registering to receive reminder notices (via SMS or post) regarding health care services appropriate to your needs. Of course, the choice is yours to make; you always can choose to opt out of receiving reminders.

Access and parking

We provide wheelchair access for disabled patients to reception, waiting areas, consultation and examination areas and toilets. Patients with a disability also have a reserved parking space adjacent to the main entrance.

Our practice is familiar with the Federal Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and legislation regarding the right to access general practices. Details can be found on the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission website.

Interpreters

If you require an interpreter, please let us know when you book your appointment. We can book an interpreter via The Interpreter Service. This service is free of charge to patients who have a Medicare card.
