Glenwood Medical Practice is fully accredited and the doctors are Fellows of the Royal Australian College of Practitioners. We pride ourselves in achieving and maintaining the highest level of patient care.
Located in North-Western Sydney, Glenwood Medical Practice is only a short drive from the Norwest Private Hospital and in the heart of suburbia. On-site parking is available.

Appointments
For all appointments with your doctor,
please phone (02) 8824 8433 or online via AutoMed
Consultations are normally by appointment, but the first available doctor will see walk-ins & urgent cases.
Longer Consultations: Please let the reception know if you need to book a long appointment, e.g for several problems or a Pap Smear or annual health check.
if more than one member of your family needs to see a doctor, please advise reception at the time of booking in order to allocate one appointment per person – this will help the doctor run on time.
CANCELLATIONS: FEES for non-attendance with fewer than two hours notice may apply.
TELEHEALTH – BILLING POLICY
All Telehealth consultations will incur a PRE-PAID fee.
This standard fee of $75.00 must be paid prior to the appointment and applies to all consultations,
including results and follow up.
Fees
The fees for healthcare providers in this practice are available by clicking on the relevant provider.

The common billing structure for GP’s in this practice includes:
Bulk Billing for:
- Patients 15 years and under
- Pensioners with a valid Pensioner Card
- Cureent Healthcare card holders
- DVA and Veteran Affairs card holders
All other patients:
- Standard consultations start at $75, with a gap of about $35.
All consultation must be paid for at the time of consultation. The fees reflect the time taken and complexity of your consultation. Where eligible, we can process your Medicare claim for you to receive your rebate straight into your nominated bank account.
We accept cash, EFTPOS and credit card. (please note there may be a surcharge with credit card payments)
Calling your doctor
Doctors in this practice may be contacted during normal surgery hours. If the doctor is with a patient, a message will be taken and your call returned as soon as possible.
Results
FOLLOW UP /RECALLS Please note that it is the patients’ responsibility to follow up their own results. Follow-up consultations will be subject to charges depending on complexity of the follow-up/review. It is recommended to book a follow up appointment with the same practitioner who has requested the investigations.
Referral & Prescription Requests
Please see your doctor if you require a prescription or a referral to see a specialist. Reception are unable to provide prescriptions or referrals without an appointment . Reception are unable to email any prescriptions, if you require a prescription from a telephone consultation, it will be sent via eScript directly to you by SMS or will be available for you to pick up from the practice as per requested during your phone consultation.
Transfer of Medical records request
A standard flat fee of $50 to process transfer of medical records request. If a health summary only is required this can be completed free of charge.
Confidentiality
This practice is dedicated to your confidentiality and privacy of health information. At times, the doctors may participate in research, professional development and quality assurance. This can involve the collection of patient data. However this information is de-identified and those involved in analysis of the data are not able to identify which patient has been included.
Reminders
The doctors at Glenwood Medical Practice are committed to preventative care. You have the option of registering to receive reminder notices (via SMS or post) regarding health care services appropriate to your needs. Of course, the choice is yours to make; you always can choose to opt out of receiving reminders.
Access and parking
We provide wheelchair access for disabled patients to reception, waiting areas, consultation and examination areas and toilets.
Patients with a disability also have a reserved parking space
adjacent to the main entrance.

Interpreters
If you require an interpreter, please let us know when you book your appointment. We can book an interpreter via The Interpreter Service. This service is free of charge to patients who have a Medicare card.
